Code Enforcement or Control Tactic?

It’s Time for Term Limits and Truth

For over 30 years, Joel’s family has proudly operated a small auto repair shop in Middletown! They genuinely care about providing honest service while keeping their facility clean inside and out. Although their business isn't a restaurant, they’re thrilled to hear customers complimenting the 100-year-old antique brick building , the cleanliness of the office, and the business as a whole. “It's gratifying to create a welcoming environment where people feel comfortable,” and they can't wait to continue serving their wonderful community with enthusiasm and pride! Unsurprisingly, Joel’s opponent is at it again with his typical bullying tactics. This tyrant has weaponized his code enforcement army to generate millions of dollars in fines and fees. He has also boasted about in his last 6 years of State of the City addresses, except for the most recent one, likely due to the upcoming election. Using this army to terrorize anyone who opposes him, his policies, or his agenda and even push people to sell their properties, essentially stealing them. Joel finds it incredibly disheartening to witness CERTAIN organizations systematically acquiring these properties at below-market value, often preying on those grappling with the fallout of relentless code enforcement issues. Ironically, my opponent has posted "code enforcement complaints" regarding my small family-owned AUTO REPAIR business, where vehicles are stored while waiting to be repaired, as Joel stands against his tyranny. This timing brings to light serious concerns about career politicians using fear tactics and weaponizing the government to maintain powerwhich is why term limits are crucial. For over a decade, Sierra’s opponent has intimidated those who challenge "KING DESTEFANO." Now, he's rallying his code enforcement army to help his agenda. It seems like downtown has a lot to offer with its various businesses. Yet, it's disappointing that sit-down dining options are dwindling, particularly for special occasions. The fact that the mayor owns the only major sit-down restaurant raises questions about what happened to the bars and restaurants like Nina's, Jay's Place, and even the Empty Bottle that once thrived in Middletown. While Sierra’s opponent suggests he out of touch with my community, nothing can be further from the truth. Joel Sierra proudly calls Middletown my home, having been born and raised here. His lifelong commitment to public service as a former 4th ward alderman, Middletown Firefighter, Middletown Business owner, and Orange County Legislator representing Middletown only reflects his deep connection and dedication to our community's needs. In his legislative district, he proudly represents 85% of our city, advocating for the needs and interests of our community with unwavering dedication. Time for change!
